Alpha Plumbing replaced a water service for a customer in Baltimore. We jackhammered the concrete sidewalk to expose the pigtail on the meter pit. We then hammered a piece of copper pipe through the basement wall underground and into the pit. This minimized the quantity of sidewalk that needed to be removed. We installed a dual check valve, thermal expansion tank and pressure relief valve inside the home to comply with city code. A concrete company is to repair the square of sidewalk that was removed.
