Grease Trap Installation – Annapolis

Alpha Plumbing replaced a grease trap for a restaurant in downtown Annapolis. The first step was to jackhammer the sidewalk and excavate to remove the old concrete tank, as seen in the first two pictures. Next, Alpha Plumbing connected the existing grease line to the inlet side of the new trap and the existing sanitary line to the outlet side. You can see the cleanouts required for maintenance and sampling. You can also see the cement encasing the trap to meet high water table code requirements. The last picture shows the rebar installed per the manufacturer’s instructions.
