In most circumstances, we can repair your toilet. We stock the most commonly used parts on our trucks and if you have a toilet that requires unique parts we can typically acquire and install those for you.
If you’re considering a new toilet installation, we can help with that too. It may be that the one you have is old and uses three gallons per flush. Its time has passed! Modern toilets use 1.6 gallons per flush at a maximum (and still flush well). Some are even more efficient. Still others are equipped with a dual-flush mechanism to allow for even more water savings.
They also come in different shapes and sizes. Some are the standard round front toilets. Others are elongated (like a commercial toilet). Some are lower to the floor and some are “chair height.” Some are made even lower—just for kids! There are also a variety of colors and styles depending on your personal preferences. Perhaps you are considering Age-In-Place toilet options. An ADA-compliant “comfort height” or “right height” toilet is what you need. We can surely provide all these options.
If you wish to install a new toilet in your home, you first need to decide whether you’d like us to provide the toilet or if you’ll provide it. Toilets are too large and there are too many styles to choose from to stock them on our trucks, but we typically recommend Kohler Wellworth and Highline dual-flush toilets.
If you want a more stylish toilet, we suggest you go to either a hardware store or one of the area plumbing showrooms (Ferguson, Kohler, Thos Somerville) to find what you desire. Be sure to mention Alpha Plumbing.
